  • Mild fever, cold, cough, rashes (non-severe)
  • Follow-up consultations after a clinic visit
  • Nutrition, growth, and developmental queries
  • Vaccination guidance and schedule questions
  • Second opinion or general child health advice
Please visit the clinic or emergency room immediately for:
  • Breathing difficulty, wheezing, or suspected pneumonia

Yes, when clinically appropriate. Our doctors can prescribe medicines during a teleconsultation in accordance with the MCI Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. Digital prescriptions issued by NeoKidsPro doctors are legally valid across India and accepted at pharmacies.

The prescription will include the doctor's name, MCI registration number, date, child's details, medicine name, dosage, and duration. Note that certain medicines (Schedule X drugs, narcotics, psychotropics) cannot be prescribed via telemedicine by law.
Your teleconsultation is not recorded by NeoKidsPro unless explicitly disclosed and consented to. All video calls are conducted over Google Meet, which uses end-to-end encryption.

Vaccinations
4 questions
We offer a complete childhood vaccination programme including:
  • IAP routine vaccines: BCG, Hepatitis B, DTP, Polio (OPV/IPV), Hib, MMR, Varicella, Typhoid, Hepatitis A
  • Optional/recommended vaccines: Meningococcal, HPV, Influenza (annual), Rotavirus, PCV
  • Booster doses as per the Indian Academy of Pediatrics schedule
  • Painless vaccine options available for all injectable vaccines
  • Travel vaccines on request
Visit vaxiclinics.com for the complete age-wise vaccination schedule.
Painless vaccines (also called acellular vaccines) contain purified components of the bacteria rather than the whole cell, which causes significantly less pain, swelling, and fever compared to conventional vaccines. They are equally effective in providing immunity.

For example, the painless DTP (DTaP) is as protective as the conventional DTP (DTwP) vaccine. Our team uses proper technique and distraction methods to ensure the most comfortable experience for your child.
Yes, home vaccination is completely safe when administered by a qualified medical professional. Our team follows all cold chain protocols: vaccines are transported in calibrated cold boxes to maintain the required 2-8°C temperature range at all times.

We cover Borivali East, Borivali West, Kandivali East, Dahisar East, and Thakur Village. To request a home vaccination visit, WhatsApp us at +91 98798 91082.
Don't worry: catch-up vaccination is possible for most vaccines. The Indian Academy of Pediatrics has catch-up schedules that allow children to complete their immunisation even if they've missed doses.

Bring your child's previous vaccination card to the clinic or share it via WhatsApp, and our doctor will assess which vaccines are due and create a catch-up plan. Starting late is always better than not vaccinating at all. Book an appointment to get started.

Child Health Questions
4 questions
Fever is the body's natural immune response and is not always dangerous. However, seek medical attention immediately if:
  • Your baby is under 3 months with any fever above 38°C (100.4°F)
  • Fever is above 39.5°C (103°F) in older children
  • Fever lasts more than 3 days without improvement
  • Your child has a febrile seizure (shaking/convulsions with fever)
  • Fever is accompanied by difficulty breathing, rash, severe headache, stiff neck, or extreme lethargy
  • Your child is not drinking fluids and shows signs of dehydration
For mild fever with no concerning symptoms, you can book a teleconsultation for same-day advice.
Every child develops at their own pace, but key milestones to watch for include:
  • 2 months: Smiles, responds to sounds, lifts head
  • 6 months: Sits with support, babbles, reaches for objects
  • 12 months: Pulls to stand, says "mama/dada", waves bye-bye
  • 18 months: Walks independently, says at least 10 words
  • 2 years: Runs, uses 2-word phrases, follows simple instructions
If your child seems consistently behind in multiple areas, consult a paediatrician early: early intervention makes a significant difference. Book a developmental assessment at neokidspro.in/book-now.
The first 28 days (the neonatal period) are critical. Key things to monitor and discuss with your paediatrician:
  • Feeding: Newborns should feed every 2-3 hours (8-12 times/day). Breastfeeding is strongly recommended for at least the first 6 months
  • Weight: A small weight loss (up to 7-10%) in the first few days is normal; babies should regain birth weight by day 10-14
  • Jaundice: Mild yellowing (physiological jaundice) is common in the first week. Jaundice persisting beyond 2 weeks, or appearing in the first 24 hours, needs urgent assessment
  • Umbilical cord: Keep dry; it typically falls off in 1-3 weeks
  • Sleep: Newborns sleep 16-18 hours/day. Always place on their back to reduce SIDS risk
Your first postnatal check-up should happen within the first 48-72 hours of discharge from hospital.
The World Health Organization and IAP recommend starting solid foods at 6 months while continuing breastfeeding. Key guidance:
  • Start with single-ingredient purees: mashed rice, dal, banana, sweet potato
  • Introduce one new food every 3-4 days to watch for allergies
  • Avoid honey before 1 year (risk of botulism) and cow's milk as main drink before 1 year
  • Avoid added salt and sugar until after 1 year
  • By 12 months, your child should be eating 3 main meals + 2 snacks from the family food
  • Offer iron-rich foods (dal, meat, fortified cereals) from 6 months; iron needs increase significantly at this stage
For personalised nutrition guidance, book a consultation at neokidspro.in/book-now.
